Hair Growth- without loads of products

Hey ma peoples, yes I just said peoples with a s, its Christmas, ppl get a little quazee at this time (ok, maybe that's just my excuse, lol). So as ya'll know I be a kinky natural hair girl, not on no real hair journey like half of the world. The heat was just getting to me and I stopped at the barber on ma way to work and told him to take everything off, nothing more nothing less; Jamaica HOT BAD. So I got rid of the hair and just didnt perm it again.
Now for how it's growing, I think it's doing well for the 2 yr period I've been natural, haven't bought any special hair growth products until earlier this year. Since I made the purchase I haven't been consistent with it until this month, yup December. Cheveux Amour Rejuvenator, is the name of it, it comes in the cutest bottle, looks like perfume. It doesnt have the nicest smell, but it doesnt smell bad either and the scent is not long lasting so its bearable. Its suppose to be a blend of natural herbs that grows your hair superfast. I usually do not go with the hype, I like to try out things for myself and have my personal take, so I bought the product all JMD$3000 worth of it. I have to say for me this shiznit works, as I said before, I don't put any special products in my hair so I can easily tell the difference this product has made. I use it every other day, in the morning and if I remember at night too. It comes in a spray bottle and the formula is like water, but with no sticky consistency which I love. I spray it on and then I give myself a scalp massage. I'm at half a bottle now, when its finish I'll show you some pictures of the hair growth difference. Oh by the way I bought the Cheveux Amour Rejuvenator at Avalon Pharmacy in Whitter Village out by Ironshore in Montego Bay. Follow the link below for more details- strange enough I couldn't find a picture :(

Hello

M.I.A. again I know, after I was doing so well- right?! Well I'm baaack again :) Happy Dance -it's your birthday, it's your birthday- ok, ok its not your birthday, but you can still pull off a happy dance on a Monday :) I was prepping for a totally fab fair up in the pretty hills of Cherry Gardens, Kingston Jamaica and that's the only reason I was missing in action. So Tish and her 1 woman team, which is herself, was sewing away day and night. I did pretty decent at Hillel's Pre- Christmas Fair. I had a blast talking to little people (u know cute kids) and parents along with whoever decided to stumble along into my Tishelle Designs Tent :) Definitely will be doing that again next year once I live to see it. Here's a link to some of the things I showcased at the fair http://www.facebook.com/#!/tishelledesigns

You know ma camera is still busted so no pics of the actual event :( Yea, I should get a camera for Christmas I know, but for this Christmas I really don't have any special wants (fear of disappointment- shhhhhh don't tell ne 1). I have another event that I will be showcasing at this December, it's Market At The Lawn, at Devon House in Kingston the 18th of December. Don't worry I wont go totally missing on you. I'll sneak in some reviews here and there and fill you in on what's shakalacking (as ma friend Byron would say). So, if you can come out and see me and ma fabulous designs- you just may like something :)

Random Babbling n a QUICK FIX FOR BUMPS AFTER SHAVING AND THE SOLUTION

 Random Babbling
So its 12: 53 am, which is absolutely hilarious cuz I have to catch a bus in a few hours to go to Kingston, which is 4 hours away in like a few hours from now and I'm up blogging. Yea, stupid I know, but ma legs are killing me, I was standing all day working and I'm in too much pain to sleep. I recently started a Pro Makeup Class- same class I have to take a 4 hr ride to get to and we have to buy a lab coat or a bush jacket for class and a cape/protective covering for our clients. Any who, being the budding entrepreneur I am, I am broke :), which is a normal vibe. I didn't have the JMD$4000 to fork out on those 2 items so of course I had to make them. Mark you, I make handbags, drapes, curtains, cushions and I've made 4 skirts but, outside of that I don't know how to make clothes. I don't know diddly squat about taking body measurements and cutting out sleeves and all that sweet jazz. So I managed to make the cape for the client which didn't come out too badly, but like the name says how hard can a cape be to make?! The lab coat on the other hand was a piece of drama, didn't know where to start, what to cut, how to cut, but I started to cut anyways. So it's like God heard ma thoughts and decided to help out ma situation, as soon as I started to cut my supposed lab coat, my friend who just finished her Fashion Designing Course came strolling in. I've never been so happy to see some1 in such a long time, talk about saving grace! She spent 3 1/2 hours helping me and it turned out great I spent another 2 hours finishing it up, it doesn't have any buttons or button holes to close it and it doesnt have ne pockets, I was too exhausted to fine tune it. Any who that's that and I am beyond grateful to the Lord above for helping me with that. Sorry I have no pics, ma camera is still busted :(

QUICK FIX FOR BUMPS AFTER SHAVING YOUR BODY PARTS AND THE SOLUTION
Ok, b4 the lab coat jazz, my friend called me up and asked me if I wanted to go to the beach and anyone who knows me, knows I'm always game for my favourit- ist place in the whole wide world! So I said yes and began to shave away, by the way I hate shaving, I hate depilatory creams, like Nair and Sally Hansen- they are great products, I just detest the hair removal process. I always get nicks and cuts and then I have to deal with ingrown hairs afterwords and awful bumps, which are the worse things ever, uggh. I found a fantabulous product though, that soothes the itching that you get after shaving, prevents or so it claims bumps from popping up after shaving and it feels really cool and refreshing when you apply to the skin. It stinks though, lol, but not too badly- it smells like a peppermint medicine- but I can live with that if it prevents bumps from popping up.

ORGANIC ROOT STIMULATOR ANTI-BUMP LOTION

Amazing product to me, it works wonders, the bottle above looks like what I currently have, however, if you can get the 1 with the nozzle, like in the picture below get that 1 instead. In my mind, I think the one with the nozzle has a more potent solution cuz, that's the 1 that I used to buy before the store started to sell the one in the picture above and it smelled so much stronger, but, I felt it worked faster than the one that I now have.

ORGANIC ROOT STIMULATOR ANTI-BUMP LOTION

Tip: To mask the smell of this anti-bump lotion, use like a Victoria secret lotion or Bath and Body works lotion after the anti-bump lotion has dried completely and you will be good to go.

QUICK BREAKOUT FIX

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY to have found this Godsend product!

QUINODERM

I woke up with 8 majorly big and painful pimples and I was so horrified to see them, so I started to research how to get rid of them asap. I discovered I needed a product with either Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide, opted for the latter as its the stronger acne fighting ingredient of the 2. I wanted Panoxyl as it was dubbed a great acne treatment, but the pharmacy was out, so I went with Quinoderm which was their back up product. Within the 2nd day of using the product 6 of the 8 painful pimples were gone and within the 4th day the remaining 2 vanished. I was pretty excited the product worked so quickly, as I honestly didn't think it would. It had no major smell, or tingling feeling when I applied it, the consistency was almost that of toothpaste and it was easy to rub into the skin. It cost a little under JMD$1000. Its now my go to breakout fix. I didn't have any adverse reactions, but people react differently to products, so if you opt to purchase it, remember that.

Lip Products I'm Liking

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Been wanting to blog about lip products for a while now, so here it is :)
I have a love hate relationship with lip products, sometimes I like them, but, my lips doesn't; I have really sensitive lips. Last month I bought a lip stain, you know they are all the craze right now, and when I applied it like in a few minutes my lips were on fire, they hurt so badly. My lips looked fantastic, but the feeling was like someone poured gasoline on my lips and lit a match, so you know who will be staying away from those.

JORDANA LOL LIP OUT LOUD LIPGLOSS

Everyone knows Jordana products, they've been around forever and they are very accessible and cost efficient (you know, cheap -ssshhhhh) I copped this product at 1 of our local pharmacies here in Montego Bay. I gotta say this product was worth all my pennies. I got the Jordana LOL Lip Out Loud in BFF, which is a neon pink- yes very bright colour. The consistency was nice not too thick and it was easy to spread. The impact was a wowzer for me, it gave my lips a punch of colour and the gloss was saying, 'see me here,' from every angle. I also like the slightly curved applicator tip. I think it cost a lil over or under JMD$200 - not quite sure. By the way this gloss has the ability to stay on for a majorly long time.

JORDANA EASY SHINE GLOSSY LIP COLOUR

The packaging of this product fooled me- I thought it would be more of a cute glossy lip stick, but it wasn't. Not to disappoint though, it's a really fab product, I'm very pleased with it. It's like one of best lip balms out there, glides on like silk (I work with fabrics, I know) and it smells delish, it gives you just enough shine to be content, but not a high gloss finish  like your typical gloss. It feels really great on the lips- I love it and the packaging is cute. I had bought the Jordana Easy Shine Glossy Lip Colour in Pink Lemonade around the same time I purchased the Jordana LOL in BFF, both of them look and feel fabulous together on my lips. The price of the Easy Shine should be the same as the LOL Lipgloss.

GIFTS I RECEIVED WITH MY ELF (Eyes Lips Face) PURCHASE AND CHERRY CULTURE PURCHASE

ELF Eyes Lips Face is a cosmetic company that sells almost, if not every thing you can think of in makeup artistry for ridiculously low prices. You can find them online at www.eyeslipsface.com . I recently purchased a makeup belt and a bunch of makeup brushes from them and I am over the roof top excited with the quality and price. Anywho, they sent me a ELF Hypershine Gloss in Berry Cherry, which I am loving. The colour is 1 shade over nude and it doesn't feel icky and sticky (just made that up, lol- working on ma corny guys), it stays on very long and the gloss is very nice, its not blinding. How could I forget, Allure Magazine has given this product The Best of Beauty Award, so you know this lip gloss is just banging, and it only cost US$1- check it out!

ELF HYPERSHINE GLOSS

Discovered www.cherryculture.com  earlier this year and since then I've been purchasing from them, there prices are also phenomenal and they carry many different brands like NYX, LA Colours, LA Splash, Jordana and the list goes on. So yet again, I received a Cherry Culture Lip Balm in Bubble Gum, which is my favourite lip balm to date, I love it, I wish I could get it here in Jamaica. When you smell it, you want to just gobble it up and it makes your lips feel super moisturized and for a lip balm, it lasts extremely long, even when you eat and drink, its still on there.

CHERRY CULTURE LIP BALM

I can tell you for sure, if you try these products you'll be pleased with the price and the quality :)

I gotto tell you about these TWEEZERS

Hola Chicas and Gents :)

                              TWEEZERMAN TWEEZERS

So I gotta let you know about the HOLY GRAIL of TWEEZERS. I'm like super excited too and super late. You know when you've discovered a great product and you had seen it all along, but, you didn't shell out the cash to buy it and now you've bought it you could just beat yourself for loosing out on it for so long? So that's the feeling I'm having. So earlier this year I went to a beauty supply store in Whitter Village (can't remember the name of it, but its beside Avalon Pharmacy), here in Montego Bay. It's an uptown shopping complex that basically has all you need, whatever you can think of, they have it!

A Section of Whitter Village Shopping Complex

So I was there buying cosmetics and I saw this really cool Tweezerman tweezer, real ergonomic looking, it looked like the real deal. When lady at the counter told me the price I think it was like over JMD$1000, so I was like cool, thanks, but, no thanks. Okay, okay,  the story didn't go like that, she told me the price and I let out the biggest brawling laughter ever, I was like tell me your joking! Then I said to her, 'I should really take up my good, good money and spend it on a tweezer?' At this point she was cracking up too and probably saying this cheap ass lady needs to leave ma store, so I think I heard her thoughts and left on that note.
So, I'm going to start a Professional Makeup Course this week in Kingston and I got a long list of items to purchase and on there was a tweezer, so I decided to cop ma lil Tweezerman. I couldn't wait to use it- you know to see what the fuss was about, maaaaaan, the Tweezerman experience was heavenly! No joke and everyone knows tweezing just aint fun, but, with this lil guy it was a breeze. It's not your regular JMD$90 tweezer that you would buy in the chiney man shop. Let me tell you, its like the hairs saw Tweezerman coming and just jumped out, its crazy. If I lost mine and I had to get another and they said the price was JMD$2000, I would be shelling out ma money to pay for it with no hesitancy. I'm for real, this thing is the real shiznit, the shape, the precise point, the grasp, everything. I would recommend this ASAP. I didn't get the cute ones like in the pic above, I got one like in the pic below.

Simply ADORE these looks!

My GO TO MASCARAS- Revlon and Maybelline

A pair of great lashes can open up your eyes, just as how great shaped eyebrows can frame your face perfectly. I love, love, love lashes and I was pretty fortunate to be born with a lovely set. However, I do believe in investing in the enhancement of them via mascaras. You can always enhance what you have. I notice that I get a lot of compliments on my eyes, due to their large size, so why not compliment them with lovely lashes?! So mascaras have indeed become my friend and I hardly ever leave home without them. Two of my faves are Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition and Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Hydrofuge.

I have to tell you the truth! I bought this cuz it was cheap, Thank God this time my cheapness never cost me :) This product is insanely great, just superific, absolutely positively fab! At one end it has a primer and then on the opposite end has the mascara and I'm telling you it works like a dream; a dream come true that is. I have never used a mascara that gives me individualized looking lashes, its almost as if it separates each lash and they all shout out, 'we are individually sexy.' I wish my camera was working so I could show you mine this morning when I applied this mascara. The mirror imprisoned me, I couldn't stop staring at them. What I loved about this product is I didn't have to do like a 1000 coats to get this desired effect; trust me 3 the most and the look was achieved. My lashes looked like the picture above- no lies! I would definitely recommend copping this product 5 stars straight rating.

Now the lashes of all lashes can be achieved with this little magic tool and when I say magic tool I do for sure mean magic! Just like the product says 'The Falsies Volum Express,' that is what is given. When I applied this baby to my lashes I felt I was ready for the run way, looking all Diva- fied, chile!  I felt like I put on a regal gown on my lashes, they were like in your face, I've arrived kinda lashes. They looked deliciously false, but not in a bad way, as I said, Diva- fied. They made my lashes look a million times longer and thicker, my bad boys looked like they were just full and out there for the world to see. This, like the Revlon mascara above, didn't need a lot of coating. I loved the results. I wear this when I'm going out as my statement piece for my eyes, you know to give a bit more drama than the regular 9- 5. This is definitely another 5 star product, but, its worth so much more in my book.

These 2 mascaras are definitely 2 great products, that achieve 2 different results. Revlon provides clarity, while Maybelline provides drama; they are like my day and night products.

Foundation Primers- SMASH BOX and PRIME TIME

When I put on foundation, guaranteed in less than a hour my face is gonna look like a shiny mess. So I decided to do something about it, so I bought 2 foundation primers which is said to slow down the oil build up underneath the foundation. Smash Box was my primer of choice.

Let me tell you, this thing worked wonders! I still had a little shine on my nose, but that was hours after putting on my primer. I felt it was a good purchase. It is an oil free product, so I loved that aspect of it. It had a nice consistency and it didn't take too long to dry and when it did, my face had a matte finish.  My face didn't break out, which I was happy about, as I read many reviews and that was the number 1 complain.

The 2nd foundation primer I purchased was Prime Time. I'd never heard about it before purchasing, but the Sales Agent at Sephora highly recommended it. I'm glad I purchased it also. It cost less than Smashbox and that on its own is a winner for me (u know I'm a cheapie). It had a gel like consistency and depending on how much you put on, it may take a little time to dry. My face did very well using this product, no oil slicks for hours and it also made my face look matte and cool. I love it. For the cost of these 2 products, I would say its a great investment. Mind you, if you spend lots of time out in the sun, especially Jamaica sun (yes I know its the same sun, but honestly its a different degree of heat than else where in the world), you may need a stronger product than these 2. Good buys- go check them out :)

Eyeshadow Primers- Urban Decay versus ELF

I love eyeshadow primers, they have opened up my eyes to the world of eyeshadows. They make my eye shadow stay on forever and they make the colors come ALIVE. I have watched a million tutorials and the eyeshadow primer of choice seems to be Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I have shopped around for it in Jamaica, but I couldn't get my hands on it any where, so when I went away last month, I made sure to purchase it, all USD$19 worth of it.
I really wanted to see what the fuss was about, so I copped it. I think its a really good primer, but honestly I appreciate my little inexpensive eyeshadow primer from Elf, which cost only a USD$1. The Urban Decay Primer Potion is a very good product, don't get me wrong.I find that my  Elf eyeshadow primer makes my eyeshadows stay on for hours and my eyeshadows seem to pop the same way as they would if I were using the Urban Decay Primer Potion. In addition, the ELF eyeshadow primer is easier to blend than Urban Decay. Urban Decay's consistency is more thick and creamy versus Elf, which is more watery, but quick to dry.
Hands down Urban Decay Primer Potion takes the win for packaging, the product container is colorful and stylish, while Elf Eyeshadow Primer is very basic, nothing to write about except the quality and price, which is what I favor most. People may say I'm crazy, but, its the truth.

Check out my ELF link to the right of the page, to see more of ELF's great inexpensive $1 products and more.

Sigma Brush Review

I have been obsessed with Sigma Brushes even before I got my hands on them. You know when you've discovered something and you really really want it and you try every single way to get the item, because you feel that you just got to have it. Well that was me. I finally got into makeup last year and then I learned that you need all these tools to apply them. That's when I became a Youtube Fanatic :) Ne who, I discovered Sigma brushes and I joined their affiliate program and they sent me their Travel Brush Kit Naughty in Black, which is valued at USD$49. I was floored! I haven't replaced my broken camera as yet, so I took a picture off the net that showcased the same kit I received from Sigma.
Sigma Travel Kit Naughty in Black
Clutch dimensions (closed): 7 x 4 inches. Brushes in this kit include:
Pencil - E30 - Precise application of color on the crease, outer corner, and upper and lower lash line. Also ideal to smudge out pencil liner. Natural bristles.
Eye Shading - E55 - Soft and dense with a rounded finish. Can be used to apply pressed or loose eye shadows and pigments. Ideal to build intense color on the eyelid. Natural bristles.
Tapered Blending - E40 - Rounded and tapered top. Specially designed to apply and blend color on the crease. Natural bristles.
Large Powder - F30 - Very dense with a rounded top. Ideal to apply powder products on face and body. Natural bristles.
Large Angled Contour - F40 - The angled shape makes this brush ideal to apply blush or contour shades. Natural bristles.
Foundation - F60 - Can be used to apply liquid or cream foundation. It is also recommended to apply moisturizers and conceal large areas. Synthetic bristles.
Concealer - F70 - The rounded, tampered, flat shape makes this brush ideal to conceal the under eye area. It is also recommended for a precise application in small areas. Synthetic bristles.

MY THOUGHTS: I love them all, except the Tapered Blending Brush- I prefer my blending brush to be a bit more compact at the top. The Foundation Brush does its job, I have no complaints. I'm in love the Concealer Brush, which I use to apply my brow highlight. The Eyeshading Brush and Pencil Brush are a definite must have. The Large Powder Brush and the Large Angled Contour Brush, I use everyday now, they are my go to brushes.  I was really impressed with my Sigma Brushes. I would recommend the Travel Kit to anyone. What I liked about them also, they were not very small and not excessively large; for me they were just the right fit. I had purchased the Travel Kit from Coastal Scents and though they were really lovely brushes, they were just too small.

Brawta: What we refer to in Jamaica as, something extra.
My brawta from Sigma was the Duo Fibre Brush, which I love! It makes my foundation looks airbrushed and flawless.

October the month of beauty products reviews

Well if u have noticed, my blog has changed up a bit, with the font and some other little stuff which I really don't like. Not to worry I will figure how to fix it soon.
So I'm super duper excited, I have so many grand products (well not that much) to show you, which I will be doing through out this month. So after all these years of walking pass Sephora, I finally went in and now I'm an addict, I'm super obsessed with their store :)

Make up Forever HD Powder

This is my new drug! I can honestly say this is the best finishing powder I've ever bought and used in my life. I love it! I'm a deep chocolate girl and I was very skeptical about buying this, but I'm so happy I did. This product sets your foundation and makes you look so good. I don't look ashy and ghostly, instead it makes me look more polished and flawless. I use it with a light hand, so I don't pick up too much on my powder brush and I slightly sweep it across my face to all the areas I had applied foundation to. I notice with this powder I do not get oily easily. It was worth every penny. I would recommend this product to everyone, everywhere. I bought mine @ a Sephora in Florida.

Make Up For Ever HD Powder ($30) is a universal translucent finishing powder to be applied over foundation or worn alone. It sets the foundation and slightly mattifies skin without changing its natural contours. This 100% mineral silica powder softens the appearance of imperfections. Completely evens out the complexion for a glowing, radiant look. One universal shade is suitable for all skin tones. Sephora is the exclusive beauty retailer for this product.

Accepting Yourself For Yourself and No One Else

Rihanna Fenty is one young lady that always seems happy in her skin

So a few days ago I was in a stationery, when a lady walked in with a zillion piercings and more tattoos than I could count. Okay, okay, it wasnt a zillion piercings, it was maybe 6 or so, not counting her ears and she had a few tattoos on her arms, from pictorials to writings. Her hair was dyed pink at the top and it was brunette and black at the back. She was dressed like a hippie and I liked it. It was apparent that she wasn't from Jamaica, not due to her being caucasian, because we do have many white people living here, but because of her strong accent. If I were to guess, I would say she came from Scotland, but I honestly don't know. The attendants in the store were really nice, don't know where their customer service skills came from (in Jamaica customer service is duly lacking, but then again she was a tourist, maybe that's why she was treated so nicely to her face). Yes, to her face, cuz I soon as she stepped out the store, those said attendants massacred that  same lady. 'Why she haffi do harself suh fa?'  'Yuh can put aaan tattoo, but nuh suh much.' 'A dem white people deh alone do dem summn deh, dem just weird suh.' 'A dem mek Jamaican people start fallow dem, a mark up, mark up dem self suh like ediat.' Those were the nicer things that were said. It was strange to me how they could tear down someone they have never met before, much less have a conversation with. I felt disappointed, but honestly not surprised. I will not suggest their thinking is due to their socio- economic status, as I have associated myself with the upper class of society many times and the attitude has been, honestly the same.Feeling comfortable in your skin, is a powerful thing! The young lady in the stationery was super cool, in her temperament and it seemed as if she didn't have a care in the world. I went by the post office shortly after my stationery episode. What joy it was to see someone from the circus or so it seemed, they gawked, they whispered and invited workers from the back of the post office to scrutinize the unusual specimen they recently found. I felt so insulted and they were not even looking at me. It was as if they just discovered light, behold this new and different thing! Its's flipping 2011 and the world is no longer strange, we see tourist everyday and if you don't I'm sure you are aware of what a functional television is. No need to talk of cable, as almost everything that is displayed on cable comes on our local channels. Throughout this bizarre affair, the same young lady from the stationery did not seem one bit perturbed; I raised my hat to her. She stood calm and happy.
Now the morale of the story? Be yourself, whom ever that is! As long as you are not hurting yourself or someone in the process and all your activities are legal, just be you. Be the best you can be! If you wanna have one lock at the top of your head dyed yellow, wear white for the rest of your life, have tattoos only on your fingers, be you. only you can make you truly happy. I'm not saying to be Lady Gaga, though reading back it kinda sounds that way, lmao. Okay, what I'm saying is be happy with the inner you and the outer you. Be comfortable in your skin because its one of the best things you can do for you.

Happiness

Okay I was gonna look up happiness and you know give y'all a good ole definition for it, but, then I thought we all know happiness. We know the joys of happiness, that lovely state of being where nothing in our world is wrong, we are just content. Many things make us happy, from family to friends to our jobs, extracurricular activities, inanimate things, you name it. When you are on the sad side of things, happiness seems to be non-existent, you can look under your bed,  through the window, call up a friend, it's just not present. Sometimes during those time we may glimpse happiness and then its gone.
I for one,  LOVE  THE BEACH, large body of water and sand. Yuppers, that's my joy right there. Rain could be falling, my eyes could be stinging from too much salt water, the sun may be scorching, but, give me my beach. I love the beach so much I have reminders of it around my house. I keep sea shells on my window sill and sand in my living room and a carving I found at the beach on my patio. Sunday is usually all about church, praising the Lord and giving worship, but tomorrow I shall be changing locations and worshiping God from the sandy beach shores where my happiness lies.
Whatever floats your boat in the happiness category, take charge of it, if you don't have happiness you don't have anything.

P.S.
Whatever is making you unhappy, fix it. I know it's not that easy, but, stop and refocus. I know I can't go to the beach everyday, so I gotta refocus and make my life into the beach I want it to be.

Pox Marks - Lightening Those Evil Blemishes

When I was in 9th grade I got the Evil Chicken Pox, okay okay, I got regular Chicken Pox, but I felt it was really evil. I was covered from head to toe in pox marks and I scratched them so badly. Calamine Lotion was of no help, it only turned me into a white ghost, well that's what my eyes perceived. After my not so quickly recovery, I was left with hundreds of pox marks and I was terribly saddened by this. I felt my skin was destroyed along with my self- confidence. I wasn't gonna stay down though, cuz I'm a fighter. I researched everything about lightening my skin blemishes without going to a doctor to give him an arm or a leg in exchange for his solution (you know how they can be expensive).

MY Solution- Hip Hip Hooray!
I bought several cubes of cocoa butter fat from the local pharmacy

I  bought a very tiny bottle of Vitamin E oil from the health food store

I also bought a bottle of olive oil.

Topiclear skin lightening cream (almost any cream containing hydroquinone can be used).

Remember when I said I was covered in pox marks, I had marks on ma face, behind my neck, in my ears, along my arms, legs, back, boobies, along areas that I would have believed were too private for Mr. Chicken Pox and on the soles of my feet. You can see why I said I caught the Evil Chicken Pox now ? All those lovely areas itched me crazily; it was like an unwanted love affair that left permanent marks along my body.
Day and Night I would slather on those above products, mixing them into a paste. A little went a long way, especially since they were mostly oil based products. After a matter of weeks I saw huge changes, my skin started looking like my skin again. It was hard to distinguish the pox marks from the rest of my skin, everything started to blend back in. After about 8 weeks no one could tell that I was a Chicken pox victim. Some days I would only use the Hyrdoquinone cream and the vitamin oil and I started using the cocoa butter fat mostly at nights after a bit, I found it to be the greasiest of all products). One thing to note, when using the hydroqinone cream and going out into the sun, ensure that you use a sunscreen over it, to protect the areas.

I really hope this has been helpful.
