Happiness

Okay I was gonna look up happiness and you know give y'all a good ole definition for it, but, then I thought we all know happiness. We know the joys of happiness, that lovely state of being where nothing in our world is wrong, we are just content. Many things make us happy, from family to friends to our jobs, extracurricular activities, inanimate things, you name it. When you are on the sad side of things, happiness seems to be non-existent, you can look under your bed,  through the window, call up a friend, it's just not present. Sometimes during those time we may glimpse happiness and then its gone.
I for one,  LOVE  THE BEACH, large body of water and sand. Yuppers, that's my joy right there. Rain could be falling, my eyes could be stinging from too much salt water, the sun may be scorching, but, give me my beach. I love the beach so much I have reminders of it around my house. I keep sea shells on my window sill and sand in my living room and a carving I found at the beach on my patio. Sunday is usually all about church, praising the Lord and giving worship, but tomorrow I shall be changing locations and worshiping God from the sandy beach shores where my happiness lies.
Whatever floats your boat in the happiness category, take charge of it, if you don't have happiness you don't have anything.

P.S.
Whatever is making you unhappy, fix it. I know it's not that easy, but, stop and refocus. I know I can't go to the beach everyday, so I gotta refocus and make my life into the beach I want it to be.

Pox Marks - Lightening Those Evil Blemishes

When I was in 9th grade I got the Evil Chicken Pox, okay okay, I got regular Chicken Pox, but I felt it was really evil. I was covered from head to toe in pox marks and I scratched them so badly. Calamine Lotion was of no help, it only turned me into a white ghost, well that's what my eyes perceived. After my not so quickly recovery, I was left with hundreds of pox marks and I was terribly saddened by this. I felt my skin was destroyed along with my self- confidence. I wasn't gonna stay down though, cuz I'm a fighter. I researched everything about lightening my skin blemishes without going to a doctor to give him an arm or a leg in exchange for his solution (you know how they can be expensive).

MY Solution- Hip Hip Hooray!
I bought several cubes of cocoa butter fat from the local pharmacy

I  bought a very tiny bottle of Vitamin E oil from the health food store

I also bought a bottle of olive oil.

Topiclear skin lightening cream (almost any cream containing hydroquinone can be used).

Remember when I said I was covered in pox marks, I had marks on ma face, behind my neck, in my ears, along my arms, legs, back, boobies, along areas that I would have believed were too private for Mr. Chicken Pox and on the soles of my feet. You can see why I said I caught the Evil Chicken Pox now ? All those lovely areas itched me crazily; it was like an unwanted love affair that left permanent marks along my body.
Day and Night I would slather on those above products, mixing them into a paste. A little went a long way, especially since they were mostly oil based products. After a matter of weeks I saw huge changes, my skin started looking like my skin again. It was hard to distinguish the pox marks from the rest of my skin, everything started to blend back in. After about 8 weeks no one could tell that I was a Chicken pox victim. Some days I would only use the Hyrdoquinone cream and the vitamin oil and I started using the cocoa butter fat mostly at nights after a bit, I found it to be the greasiest of all products). One thing to note, when using the hydroqinone cream and going out into the sun, ensure that you use a sunscreen over it, to protect the areas.

I really hope this has been helpful.

Crown Brush Review and Coastal Scents Brush Review

Hey hope everyone is good and happy!
I finally got my Crown Brush Set and I had my Coastal Scents Brush Set from about April of this year, so its time to review both of them. I still don't have ma camera so I will being using internet pictures of the brushes I own.

Crown Brush Deluxe Set- 14 Piece Brush Set from www.crownbrush.com
It came in a cool black leather looking brush roll and it was well packaged. I liked most of the brushes. I washed them with anti-bacterial dish washing liquid and air dried them in my brush guards so they would keep the sleek shape they had when they came.

This last 3 brushes to the right I was not pleased with at all and I was quite surprised about this. They are, C104 Angle Brush, C108 Flat Bronzer and the C106 Pointed Dome. They shed easily before usage and they smell funny, even after being washed. The 2nd to last brush, smelled so horrible when wet, worse than a dirty dog, I could not get over the smell. When dried it did not smell that badly, but it still smelled. I was very eager to use the 2nd to last brush which is the C108 Flat Bronzer, but the smell makes me very uncomfortable. I even when back and washed this brush with shampoo and it still did not bring it to a clean scent :( Outside of the 3 brushes, this set is a total keeper. The handles feel good in my hands and the other brushes are very effective in carrying out the specific functions.

The Brush Guards I mentioned I bought from www.coastalscents.com.

What I like about the guards is they allow my brushes to last longer by helping them to stand up and dry, so the water runs down in to the glass (check the pic below). When u allow your brush to dry flat or laying down, the water can get into the metal area and eat away at the glue that bounds the brush hairs together. In no time, you will need more brushes if you continue to dry your brushes that way. So I believe the brush guards save my pockets and my brushes quality by helping to keep their physique :)

Coastal Scents 7 Piece Synthetic Travel Brush Set
I LOVE THESE BRUSHES!!! (No I'm not being paid to say this, but. I wish I was, lol) These brushes are pretty small, after all they are travel size brushes so you can't expect them to be regular size. They come in this little black pouch with an additional section for you to drop like a small compact or any other small make up necessities u may need, like lip gloss or a small eye shadow or 2. I washed them before I used them also and used my brush guards when drying them also. They look great, they smell great, I honestly haven't had any shedding, they feel EXTREMELY SOFT!!! I have never felt anything this soft on my skin ever. Honestly, I enjoy using these brushes on a day to day basis. At first I had to get used to the size, but, I quickly got over that.

I am overall a happy customer with the 2 brush sets I own :)
