This is one is recent
Ok, by now you all shoud know that I'm a once a week blogger. Before I was thinking I'm lazy, but, now I do not think that is exactly true. I'm just not used to the blogger world as yet. Not to worry I'm getting there, slowly but, surely. In life everything takes time (that is me trying to comfort myself- lol). So what am I going to present to you guys today? I was thinking I could get into some little Tishelle Dzine Stuff, since, I havent as yet.
I love hats, caps anything like that. I will usually buy a couple when I see peddlers on the streets parading with them. I started crocheting in 2007, when my friend showed me how to make a chain (I know crochet language, right?). Since then, every time people find out that I can crochet they have been asking me to make them hats, but, I didn't know how. You see with crochet there are rules that you can use to make certain styles and certain things. However, I only knew the basics. I always wanted to make hats though, but, that's not where I really started. After my friend showed me a few things, a first made a bag- I LOVED IT. I then moved onto swim suits, which I LOVED MORE. Then I went back to bags and now I finally can make hats. I was on this long bus journey from Montego Bay ( where I live) to Kingston ( the capital of Jamaica)- which took a complete 4 hours. I never travel without crochet threads and a needle, the journey was major long, so I set out on this trial and error thing with trying to make this hat. At the end of my 4 hour trip - I had my first handmade hat by Moi, all in between a few naps on the bus. I was so proud. Let me show u all some of my crochet treasures.
This is my friend that showed me how to crochet- She made the swimsuit that she has on.
I made the top I have on in this picture, but, I purchased the bottom.

I absolutely adore cushions
Big, small, round, square, piped, frilled, simple, extravagant- I love all variations of cushions. I love the idea that they are more than eye candy- you can actually use them. So I said I would post a few that I have done for clients and others I just did because I had some time on my hand.
I absolutely love colours and textures, so you will always see me mixing the two.
